Community of owners

When buying property in an urbanization, or block of flats, you automatically become a member of what is known as a “Community of Owners”.

The Community of owners is composed of all the property owners within the same development or building. In Spain the legal aspects of the organization and the management of communities of owners are regulated by the Horizontal Property Law (Ley de Propiedad Horizontal).
